Bedale's Danny Bean Set for British Rallycross Debut
Eighteen-year-old Bedale driver Danny Bean is set to make his transition from karting to car racing at Lydden Hill in Kent, competing in the Swift Sport Rallycross Championship as part of the 5 Nations British Rallycross Championship. He will drive a Suzuki Swift Sport prepared and run by Peter Gwynne Motorsport. Bean’s debut continues a family connection to the series: his father Johny previously competed and narrowly missed the 2012 title, while his brother Charlie won the Junior Swift Championship in 2014 after twice finishing runner-up.
