All confirmed Watford-area bus changes for summer 2026
Several Watford-area bus services will have revised frequencies, routes or timetables during summer 2026. Sullivan Buses’ 306 service between Watford and Borehamwood will run hourly rather than every 30 minutes from July 24, while its Sunday, evening and school services remain unchanged. From August 30, the 397 and 346 school services will receive timetable or routing adjustments, Red Rose Travel’s W1 will extend to Rickmansworth’s Berry Lane Estate but stop serving Maple Cross, and the 322 will lose evening and Sunday services. The 602 will run twice hourly between Hatfield and Watford, with extra Hatfield Business Park–St Albans journeys withdrawn.

Hertfordshire among the UK's most dangerous areas for cyclists

Six Hertfordshire criminals jailed in July 2026
Six men from Hertfordshire received prison sentences in July 2026 for offences including cryptocurrency fraud, money laundering, sexual assault, rape, weapons offences, burglary and shoplifting. Watford population rises slightly according to new ONS data
