Salisbury Police investigate antisocial behaviour in Harnham
Salisbury Police are investigating reports of teenagers setting small fires, spraying graffiti, causing criminal damage and verbally abusing members of the public in woodland between Chiselbury Grove and Radcliffe Road in Harnham. Police warn that fires pose a heightened risk during hot, dry weather and are appealing for witnesses to identify those involved.

Image released after roadworks tool stolen in Fordingbridge
Police released a CCTV image of a man they want to identify in connection with the theft of a wacker plate from roadworks on Marl Lane in Fordingbridge at around 2pm on July 22. Hampshire Constabulary is asking witnesses or anyone with information to call 101 or report online, quoting incident number 44260352264.

38-year-old man found after Salisbury city centre disorder
A 38-year-old man wanted in connection with a disorder incident on Friary Lane in Salisbury was found, according to Salisbury Police. The disturbance involved five people and occurred at around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11; the man was believed to have left the scene in a white van. Police thanked members of the public who shared their appeal.

Salisbury MP declared gifted Ascot tickets and Jordan trip
Salisbury MP John Glen declared two Ascot tickets worth £590 from Ascot Racecourse Limited and a £1,803.13 Jordan visit sponsored by the Coalition for Global Prosperity. The Pines Home Care in Ringwood rated 'Good' by CQC
The Pines Home Care, a supported-living provider in Ringwood for adults with learning disabilities and autistic people, received an overall Good rating from the Care Quality Commission. Inspectors praised its person-centred support, promotion of independence, safeguarding practices, tailored care planning and positive leadership. The inspection identified gaps in recruitment documentation, including some employment histories, references and risk assessments, but the provider began addressing them during the inspection. Manager Debbie Gaskin said the service would build on the findings and aim for an Outstanding rating at its next inspection.

Amesbury care provider Maisy Care at Home rated Good by CQC
Maisy Care at Home Ltd in Amesbury received an overall Good rating from the Care Quality Commission across safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led measures. Inspectors praised its safety culture, staff competence, inclusive leadership and responsive care for people with dementia and physical disabilities. However, they found gaps in mental-capacity assessments, checks on less restrictive care options, complaint tracking, auditing and consistency between paper and digital records. Manager Blessing Sawadye said the provider was addressing the shortfalls and strengthening governance processes.

In the Dock - Recent Salisbury Cases Heard at the Courts
Salisbury Magistrates' Court dealt with several recent cases. Sonnie Kerley received a community order, 120 hours of unpaid work, rehabilitation activity, £60 compensation and an 18-month ban from the Kings Head pub after admitting threatening behaviour and a separate uninsured-driving offence. Ramy Almohtadi was disqualified from driving for 18 months after admitting driving with cocaine above the legal limit. Ashley Jarvis admitted harassing Michelle Jarvis through repeated abusive emails and received no separate penalty.
