Baby death trial told infant's DNA was found on hairdryer
Forensic experts told the High Court in Aberdeen that DNA from three‑month‑old Dahlia‑Rose Gartshore was found on a hairdryer nozzle, along with fragments from a stained bedsheet linked to the infant. The evidence was presented during the trial of Courtney Gartshore, who denies culpable homicide and additional charges related to alleged neglect and substance use while caring for the baby. Testing indicated the hairdryer could reach temperatures up to 90C. Prosecutors claim the infant died from severe injuries caused by exposure to heat. The trial continues.
