Girl, 10, airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries after South Lanarkshire crash
A 10-year-old girl was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow with life-threatening injuries after a single-vehicle crash on the A721 near Carnwath, South Lanarkshire. The 44-year-old driver and a 72-year-old front-seat passenger also suffered serious injuries. Second man charged over Glasgow city centre alleged attempted murder
A second 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged attempted murder, serious assault, assault and possession of an offensive weapon following a disturbance on Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow on August 2. Man who murdered his partner with a claw hammer in Aberdeen jailed for 22 years
Joseph Greer, 40, was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum of 22 years for murdering his partner Samantha Lee, 54, with repeated blows from a claw hammer in Aberdeen.
