Rare David Bowie Vinyl Records Listed on St Luke’s eBay Store
St Luke’s Hospice has listed three rare David Bowie vinyl records on its eBay store: a Japanese-exclusive red vinyl Blackstar single, a limited-edition blue vinyl Hours album, and a white vinyl Record Store Day release of The Stars (Are Out Tonight). The items were donated by volunteer and lifelong Bowie collector Robin Jeeps, whose broader collection has already generated more than £1,300 for the hospice. The auction closes at 8pm on 30 August, with proceeds supporting care for people and families in Sheffield; Gift Aid may provide an additional 25% to the charity.

Sponsor a St Luke’s nurse and help protect hospice care for Sheffield families
St Luke’s Hospice is asking people in Sheffield to make regular monthly donations through its Sponsor a Nurse campaign. The charity says rising demand and costs are increasing pressure on hospice services, while public funding covers only about a quarter of its running costs, leaving it needing to raise more than £11 million annually. Community nurse Lori Marples says the campaign will help maintain expert palliative care for local patients and families, particularly as many people still lack access to the care they need during terminal illness.

Behind the Peak raises £3,000 in memory of mum
Louis McCaffrey and his best friend Jack Morley raised £3,238 for St Luke’s Hospice through a 10km walk in the Peak District, organized via their Behind the Peak social media platform. The fundraiser honors Louis’s mother, Elizabeth, who died after treatment for myeloma and lymphoma. St Luke’s provided round-the-clock community support at home when her family could no longer meet her care needs.
