Caroline Peaty has issued a statement saying that she and Adam Peaty's father continue to love and support their son from afar. Her message followed Adam's emotional interview after winning bronze in the 100m breaststroke at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, where he said the family rift and public scrutiny had taken a toll. The dispute reportedly began around Adam's wedding to Holly Ramsay-Peaty after Caroline was excluded from the hen party and later told not to attend the wedding. Caroline acknowledged previously speaking to a newspaper about the fallout but suggested the family may be ready to move beyond the conflict.
