2 beaches in Cornwall named among the best in Britain
Lantic Bay near Polperro and Bream Cove near Falmouth have been included in The Telegraph’s list of Britain’s top 20 secret and remote coastal escapes. Lantic Bay is praised for its clear waters, white sand and secluded setting, although strong currents and the absence of a lifeguard make swimming inadvisable. Bream Cove offers a quieter alternative to Falmouth’s busier beaches, with calm waters, dog access in summer, paddleboarding opportunities and a nearby food truck.
