Magdelivia Hidalgo is a journalist based in Miami, United States of America. Magdelivia Hidalgo is an independent journalist committed to freedom of expression and access to information. In 1994, she founded the Libertad Press Agency, an initiative aimed at promoting independent journalism in contexts of restricted information. She holds a degree in Radio and Television Production from the United States, a background that has supported her solid career in the media industry. Beginning in 2000, she worked as a producer at Radio Martí, a role she held for more than 22 and a half years. From this platform, she made a significant contribution to the dissemination of information to the Cuban people, focusing on current affairs, human rights, and the social realities of the island. Throughout her career, Magdelivia Hidalgo has maintained a firm commitment to journalism as a tool for public service and the defense of fundamental freedoms.
