Norway's King Harald V's health has worsened, palace says
King Harald V's health has worsened while he remains hospitalized at Oslo University Hospital with a bacterial infection in his bloodstream, although the palace says he has responded to antibiotics. The 89-year-old monarch, who has also been treated for haemolytic anaemia and received a pacemaker in 2024, will remain on leave from royal duties, with Crown Prince Haakon serving as regent.
