Marianna Ricciardi

Marianna (Mari) Ricciardi is a journalist based between London, United Kingdom and Bangkok, Thailand. 

Mari has over ten years' experience across the British, Italian and Southeast Asian markets. 

Born in Italy and based between London and Bangkok, she covers entertainment, lifestyle, fashion and beauty for both Western and Asian audiences, including Thai entertainment (BL and Queer stories in general), K-drama, T-pop and K-pop, alongside Thai beauty, K-beauty, C-Beauty and J-beauty, as well as wider health, wellness, food/drinks and travel. 

She reports fluently in English and Italian, with working Spanish and conversational Thai.

Her work spans journalism, feature stories, content writing and interviews across print, radio, podcast, video and broadcast, as well as audio packages and documentary work. Her editorial credits include OK!, Notion, Hello Magazine, Stylist, Dazed and i-D, alongside senior desk roles at Reach PLC and hotukdeals. 

At Farfetch, she ran the Gucci and Fendi pages and produced trans-creational content bridging the UK and Italian markets. On the styling side, she has worked on shoots and campaigns for clients including Selfridges, Sony Music, Nestlé and KTZ, and on celebrity projects featuring Rita Ora and Duran Duran.
