Prison officer sent revealing photos to inmate after pair struck up relationship
A prison custody officer, Beverley Frank, admitted misconduct after sending intimate photos to an inmate at HMP Millsike under pseudonyms. Monitoring of inmate communications exposed the relationship when staff matched images to Frank. She confessed when confronted and was later arrested, though no evidence suggested she supplied contraband. The court acknowledged her remorse, previous cooperation and suitability for rehabilitation. She received an eight‑month suspended sentence, unpaid work, rehabilitation days, a contact ban with the inmate and forfeiture of her phone.
