Manchester United are preparing for the new season and Champions League football after signing Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans, but further squad changes are expected. The club has reportedly enquired about Paris Saint-Germain teenager Ibrahim Mbaye, who could be available for about £42 million as PSG make room in their squad. United are also expected to retain Marcus Rashford, while academy winger Ethan Williams has joined Peterborough United for a reported fee of around £750,000.

Manchester United could complete several transfer moves before the end of July as Michael Carrick seeks to deepen his squad ahead of a Champions League campaign. Manu Koné is reportedly close to agreeing personal terms, although Roma are pressing for a concrete offer to meet UEFA financial requirements. Goalkeeper Radek Vitek may join Middlesbrough, while Joshua Zirkzee, Altay Bayındır and Marcus Rashford are all potential departures. Rashford’s future remains unresolved after Barcelona declined to convert his loan into a permanent transfer.

United are now considering reviving their interest in Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba, but Brighton’s reported £100 million asking price would need to fall before negotiations progress. The club has already strengthened midfield with Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans and continues to assess further options under Michael Carrick.
