Sex offender on run in Tunisia after touching young girl and 'tainting' her
A man convicted of sexually abusing a vulnerable young girl fled to Tunisia the day after being found guilty at Nottingham Crown Court. He was sentenced in absentia to nine years and seven months in prison and placed on the sex offender register for life. The judge highlighted his manipulation of the victim, lack of remorse and decision to flee. Police continue efforts to locate him and return him to the UK.
