Police Searching for Missing 33-Year-Old Man

Changes at National Trust sites near Worcester during hot weather

Malvern care home manager stole £22,500 from resident
A care home manager was convicted of stealing £22,500 from a dementia patient by using the resident’s bank card for regular withdrawals and personal spending, including funding a trip to Dubai. Ann Comer was found guilty of six counts of fraud by abuse of position at Worcester Crown Court and received a 12‑month suspended prison sentence. West Mercia Police stated she exploited a vulnerable person for her own lifestyle, and further proceedings under the Proceeds of Crime Act will follow.
