Welsh Three Peaks Challenge raises more than £10k for NHS
Cerith Coates, who is receiving treatment for incurable but manageable bowel cancer, joined friends, family and colleagues for the final ascent of Pen y Fan during the Welsh Three Peaks Challenge. The event raised £10,870 for Ward 7 and the Chemotherapy Day Unit at Prince Philip Hospital. Hospital staff thanked Coates and the organizers, saying the funds will support improvements to the chemotherapy unit and patient care.
