Elizabeth Waddell, 44, an American visitor to Grenada, disappeared after apparently going swimming near Grand Anse in St George. Her friend noticed she was missing after finding her towel on a pier and reported the incident. Waddell's husband, Cailen, and their daughter travelled to Grenada to help search, while the Royal Grenada Police Force is coordinating with fishermen, boat operators and local residents along the southern coastline. The investigation remains ongoing.

A 19-year-old kayaker, Michael Henry, is presumed dead after his kayak capsized near Boulmer on July 7. Although his companion was rescued after reaching a buoy, extensive land and sea searches failed to find Michael, leading Northumbria Police to conclude he likely died at sea. His family paid tribute to him as a much‑loved and active young man preparing for travel and university. Police expressed condolences and asked for privacy for the family while thanking emergency services involved in the search.
