Ryanair passengers 'thought they were going to die' as flight makes emergency diversion
A Ryanair flight from Alicante to Liverpool experienced severe turbulence that threw passengers and crew into the ceiling, injuring several people and forcing an emergency diversion to Nantes. Paramedics treated injured travellers, including a cabin crew member taken to hospital with a knee injury. Passengers described panic on board as the aircraft reportedly dropped 300 feet in seconds. A replacement plane later transported passengers to Liverpool.
