Blencowe Scaffolding enters administration after 62 years
Family-run Blencowe Scaffolding, founded in 1964 and operating depots in Salisbury, Basingstoke and Eastleigh, has entered administration. Administrators Julie Anne Palmer and Andrew Hook of BTG Begbies Traynor have been appointed, leaving more than 100 workers facing uncertainty. The company’s specialist scaffolding division, established in 2014, serves commercial and domestic clients across the UK and occasionally overseas. Its collapse comes amid a broader wave of construction-sector administrations.
