Severn Trent to fix 'noisy' Shirebrook manhole after months of wait
Severn Trent promised to repair a faulty, rattling manhole cover at the Ashbourne Street and Market Street crossroads in Shirebrook after residents reported months of disruptive noise and safety concerns. Renata Czyz said the clattering traffic had prevented sleep, affected her work and worsened stress linked to high blood pressure. Nearby resident Charles Lee also warned that the cover could collapse. The repair is scheduled under a full road closure, with the road expected to reopen in the early hours.

Rare Renault 'Spaceship' Car Owners Gather for Anniversary

Air-conditioning problem leaves train 'raining' inside
