Stratford Park Lido reopens after year-long closure
Stratford Park Lido reopened after almost a year of closure for safety-critical repairs to its cracked foundation, corroded pipework and pool tank. The reopening featured a 1930s-themed ceremony, live music, DJs and a new café, drawing swimmers and families from across the area. Stroud District Council has committed £476,000 to urgent and short-term works and is considering longer-term options, while the pool will remain open daily through September 30.
