Oldbury Repertory Theatre will premiere The Changeling, a new gothic thriller by Paul Steventon-Marks inspired by Dracula mythology. Set in the Transylvanian mountains, the story follows Van Helsing in a race to save humanity, blending folklore and supernatural elements with immersive production design. Performances run July 11 to 18, with tickets available through the theatre’s website.

A live demonstration event at Stourbridge Glass Museum will showcase several traditional and endangered glassmaking skills, featuring activities held both at the museum and the nearby Blowfish Glass studio. Artists will present techniques such as glass cutting, neon tube bending and Venetian-style bead making. Organizers aim to raise awareness of threatened craft skills while highlighting the region’s glassmaking heritage, with sessions running throughout the day and some requiring advance booking.
