Liverpool unveiled its white Adidas away kit for the 2026/27 season with a high-profile New York launch, including the Empire State Building being lit in the club’s colours and appearances by Ian Rush and Robbie Fowler. The kit, inspired by Liverpool’s 1980s away strips, features red shorts, white socks and Adidas’ Trefoil logo and is available to buy alongside matching lifestyle and training ranges. A consortium led by Amit Bhatia is reportedly seeking a strategic minority investment in Liverpool FC, with Fenway Sports Group said to be considering selling around 30% of the club. Eduardo Saverin, the Facebook co-founder whose wealth is estimated at £24.3 billion, was reportedly approached, although it is unclear whether he remains involved. Liverpool is valued at more than £4.7 billion, and the potential deal follows Dynasty Equity’s smaller investment in 2023 and earlier reports linking Jeff Bezos to the club.

Real Madrid have reportedly agreed a deal in principle to sign Ivory Coast winger Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig for a fee of around £100m.
