Father Christmas to Appear at Three Wiltshire Parks
Calne Wordfest has announced a summer visit by Father Christmas, who will travel by ice cream van to three Calne parks on Friday, August 21. He will appear at the Recreation Ground at 10am, Wessington Park at noon and North End near the football club at 2pm, with each 30-minute session featuring interactive storytelling. Attendees can claim an ice cream voucher supplied through the Calne Lions, while Calne Library will promote its activities. The event is funded by Calne Area Board and supported by The Pound Arts, with storyteller Gav Cross helping organize it.
