The UK is expected to experience its most significant solar eclipse in nearly three decades, with around 90% of the Sun covered by the Moon. The partial eclipse is scheduled to begin at about 6:15 p.m., reach its maximum at approximately 7:11 p.m., and end around 8:04 p.m. The Royal Observatory Greenwich is hosting a live broadcast of the event. It will be the greatest eclipse coverage visible from the UK and Ireland since the 1999 total eclipse in parts of Cornwall and Devon.
