Scunthorpe man kidnapped woman from York hotel, court told
Leon Harvey, 43, of Scunthorpe, was sentenced to six years in prison at York Crown Court after being convicted of kidnapping and assaulting a woman he tracked to a York hotel. He forced her into his car, punched and kicked her, took her phone and keys, and used tracking applications and services to locate her. North Yorkshire Police said Harvey showed no remorse and displayed possessive and coercive behaviour. He was also given a 20-year restraining order preventing contact with the victim.
