Bindweed will 'dry out' and not grow back if you do easy task this month
Bindweed can rapidly overwhelm garden plants because of its extensive root system and ability to regrow from fragments. Gardening specialist Simon Akeroyd advises removing the entire root system, placing the pulled bindweed on chicken wire over a compost heap, and allowing it to dry out completely for several weeks before composting it. This is intended to prevent the roots from continuing to grow and returning to the garden.
