I began my career as a program director at NHK, Japan’s public broadcaster, where I worked on international news and documentary programs. I now work with major Japanese broadcasters and international clients as a journalist, researcher, production consultant, interpreter, and translator.

My work includes:

1. Researching Japan-related topics and identifying experts, interviewees, and source material
2. Advising on research strategy, interview planning, story direction, and production requirements
3. Conducting interviews and preparing questions and background materials
4. Providing English–Japanese translation and consecutive interpretation
5. Providing local coordination when required, including outreach, scheduling, permissions, and rights clearance
6. Coordinating communication between Japanese production teams and overseas organizations
7. Supporting television, documentary, sports, and digital media projects involving Japan

I have particular experience in MLB and sports coverage, international affairs, cross-border interviews, and documentary storytelling.
