Pembrokeshire Health Worker Remembered for VR Legacy
Michelle Copeman, a Hywel Dda University Health Board project manager and Bevan Exemplar, has been remembered for helping establish virtual-reality initiatives to reduce loneliness and improve wellbeing in Pembrokeshire. She worked with Vere Experiences and Pembrokeshire County Council on Connecting Realities and related mental-health interventions, helping secure funding and develop community-based care approaches. Colleagues described her as a skilled collaborator whose influence continued until shortly before her death from lung cancer at age 48. The projects later contributed to Ffynhonnell-Wellspring, an immersive women’s health and wellbeing platform.
