Sunningwell Festival set to return for its 26th year
The Sunningwell Festival returns July 23–26 with opera, comedy, folk music and family performances under a large open-air tipi at the Quarry Amphitheatre. Organized by Opera Anywhere, the event raises funds for the bereavement charity SeeSaw, with founders highlighting its growth and community impact. This year’s programme includes comedy by Amy Webber, a Woody Guthrie-inspired show by Reg Meuross, Mozart’s The Magic Flute, a family adventure from Enchanted Performers Theatre Company and The Pirates of Penzance. Organizers encourage early booking and emphasize the festival’s role in supporting local children and families.
