The Full List of 25 Skin Conditions That May Qualify for DWP PIP Payments
The Department for Work and Pensions has identified 25 skin-related conditions associated with 27,391 Personal Independence Payment claims as of April 2026. The list includes lymphoedema, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, psoriasis, eczema, leg ulcers and burns. Eligibility is not automatic: claimants must demonstrate that their condition causes difficulty with daily living or mobility tasks more than half the time over a 12-month period. PIP payments can provide up to £114 per week to help with additional costs arising from disability or long-term ill health.
