Championship supercomputer predicts 2026-27 standings with firm West Ham verdict
A Casino Kings supercomputer simulation predicts that relegated West Ham United will win the 2026–27 Championship and immediately return to the Premier League under Nuno Espírito Santo. Burnley are forecast to finish second, while Wolves, Norwich, Sheffield United, Wrexham, Southampton and Birmingham are projected to reach the playoffs, with César Peixoto’s side predicted to win at Wembley. Lincoln, Blackburn and QPR are tipped for relegation to League One. West Ham have kept captain Jarrod Bowen and began the season with a 3–1 Carabao Cup victory over Portsmouth.
