In this special two-guest conversation, Mohammad Manzarpour speaks with Professor Mohammad Sahimi and Ambassador John Limbert to analyze one of the most critical moments facing the Islamic Republic.
As European states debate expanding sanctions and designating the IRGC as a terrorist organization, and as major international publications question whether Iran’s political system is structurally sustainable, we examine:
The internal legitimacy crisis facing Tehran
The growing dominance of the IRGC in politics and the economy
The effectiveness — and risks — of expanded sanctions
Succession dynamics and elite power struggles
The future of U.S.–EU coordination on Iran
Is the regime adapting — or slowly unraveling?
And what does the international community realistically expect to achieve?
A serious, in-depth discussion at a pivotal moment.
