Wreckage found off Pakistan’s coast after cargo plane disappeared
Debris from a K2 Airways cargo plane that vanished en route to Karachi was recovered in the Arabian Sea after a 12‑hour search by Pakistani naval and civilian teams, while the main wreckage is believed to lie 3,000 metres deep. The aircraft reported a navigation system malfunction before losing contact, and radar data later showed a sudden change in heading and rapid descent. Families of the five missing crew members remain in contact with authorities as search efforts intensify under directives from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Experts say the cause of the incident remains unclear pending further investigation.
