Weymouth defeated Dorset Premier Two leaders Wimborne Seconds by seven wickets at The Leaze, bowling them out for 150 before reaching 153-3 with 16 overs remaining. Lloyd Beals took 6-14, while Dean Janaway scored 73 and anchored the successful chase. The result was Weymouth’s second win over Wimborne this season and strengthened their position in second place. Captain Cube Whyte praised the team’s complete performance as Weymouth prepared to host Swanage.

Poole Town V defeated Weymouth III by 136 runs in County Division Seven, scoring 250 after recovering from 109-4 through Matthew MacDiarmid’s unbeaten 100 and Peter MacDiarmid’s 47. Weymouth began their chase at 70-0 but collapsed to 114 all out after losing seven wickets for 14 runs. Weymouth sit fifth and will next face second-placed Marnhull Thirds.

Weymouth defeated Marnhull by five wickets after restricting them to 121 all out at Redlands. Marnhull reached 105-2 following an aggressive 62 from Charlie Cassidy, but Weymouth’s bowlers, led by captain Cube Whyte’s 5-7 and Urumancheri’s 3-19, took eight wickets for 16 runs. Jim Ryall’s 37, supported by Jethro Cox and Neil Walton, guided Weymouth to 124-5 and moved them into second place ahead of a clash with league leaders Wimborne.
