Hell Let Loose: Vietnam PS5 Review – 50 vs. 50 Hardcore Shooter Action
Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is a demanding 50-vs.-50 tactical shooter set during the Vietnam War, contrasting with the faster, more accessible gameplay of Call of Duty and Battlefield. Its asymmetric USA-versus-North Vietnamese Army design, large maps, specialist military roles and tunnel-based logistics create substantial strategic depth, but the steep learning curve, dependence on coordinated teammates, long matches and early technical issues may deter newcomers. Despite launch problems and server congestion, the review finds the game promising and awards it 7/10.

Best new mobile games on iOS and Android - August 2026 round-up
A roundup of seven new iOS and Android games finds the strongest releases in the complex card strategy game Witchcraft!, the demanding medieval city builder Townsmen: A Kingdom Rebuilt, and the mining roguelite Voidloop. Beat Hazard Arcade offers procedurally generated shooting based on players’ music, while Tower Of Fortune: Pralaya provides an unusual, highly randomized role-playing experience. Meow Knights: Idle RPG and Ringdown: Switchboard Puzzle are less successful because of limited player involvement or repetitive gameplay. Scores range from 5/10 to 8/10.

The Planet Crafter PS5 review – build your own world
The game tasks players with terraforming a hostile planet into a thriving ecosystem, progressing from basic survival to advanced construction and biological engineering. Resource gathering, exploration, and crafting steadily unlock new technology and expand accessible terrain as environmental conditions improve. Despite initially limited movement and inventory systems, upgrades arrive naturally as players advance. The evolving world, expanding biomes, and continuous discoveries create an engaging loop that remains compelling over long playtimes. While less visually polished and mechanically complex than some comparable titles, its sense of progression and freedom make it a strong recommendation for fans of exploration-driven survival games.

A historical narrative game about Newfoundland soldiers in the Gallipoli campaign offers rich detail and thoughtful conversations but suffers from limited interactivity, technical issues, and weak production values. Despite its educational potential and strong voice acting, the game’s lack of meaningful gameplay, repetitive mechanics, and serious bugs, including lost save data, undermine its impact and leave it feeling short and underdeveloped.

A ground‑up remake of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag delivers refreshed combat, enhanced naval mechanics, improved visuals and expanded narrative content while retaining the original’s broad variety of activities. Updated systems, streamlined parkour and upgraded ship battles provide a modern feel, and the blend of new and old content results in a polished, lengthy experience that mitigates series‑typical repetition. The remake is praised for technical stability, vivid Caribbean environments, and strong character portrayals, offering a comprehensive return to one of the franchise’s most admired entries.
