Connectus founder marks milestone as firm doubles user base
Connectus Business Solutions is marking 15 years in business after growing from 380 clients and 7,000 users in 2020 to more than 700 businesses and 15,000 users. The Doncaster-based IT and cybersecurity provider has completed seven acquisitions, most recently investing in Glu Digital to create the Digital Connect Group, while turnover is expected to exceed £6 million. CEO Roy Shelton says the privately owned, employee-owned company plans further acquisitions focused on Microsoft-based managed services, alongside investment in AI through Connectus Evolve and organic growth in cybersecurity, connectivity and telephony across the Northern Powerhouse, Midlands and wider UK.
