Ballinamallard Reserves opened their Fermanagh and Western Division One campaign with a 2–1 victory over NFC Kesh at Fisher Park. Adam McCreery gave Ballinamallard the lead, Jordan McClure equalised for Kesh, and Stevie Drumm scored the decisive goal three minutes later. Ballinamallard manager Ally Irwin praised his young squad's development, while Kesh manager Ryan Campbell felt a draw would have been fair and criticised his side for switching off at a set play.

Enniskillen Rangers opened the league season with a 3-1 away victory over Tummery Athletic. Jason Keenan and Ciaran Smith scored inside the first 14 minutes after Tummery defensive errors, giving Rangers control at half-time. Tummery improved significantly after the break and Tom Maguire headed in with five minutes remaining, but Blain Campbell was sent off after an off-the-ball clash. Joel Byrne sealed Rangers' win with an injury-time strike. Rangers manager Darren Higginbotham praised his team's football, finishing and defensive resilience, while Tummery manager Fintan McCarney acknowledged his side's poor first half but saw the improved second-half display and the experience of a developing squad as positives.
