Nika Komarova is a journalist based in Moscow, Russia. Born in Moscow in 1989 in a family of orientalists. Lived and studied in Tokyo, Japan from the age of 3 to 17. Back in Russia, Veronika studied at the Institute of Mass Media of the Russian State University for the Humanities (department of journalism), participated in the Master’s program at the School of Art History at the RSUH, studied at Rodchenko Art School and Anatoly Osmolovsky’s BAZA Institute in Moscow. Since 2011 Veronika has worked in journalism: as a producer for Echo of Moscow radio station, she has been a correspondent for the Snob magazine, an editor at Rolling Stone Russia. Later on, Veronika turned to PR and the production of international cultural projects. She worked as a communication and project manager at the British Council Russia, as a PR director at the Documentary Film Center at the Museum of Moscow and Rodchenko Art School, head of culture projects and PR at Moskino. She was an independent curator and participant of the 7th Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art and the 6th Moscow International Biennale for Young Art. She is an author of publications on contemporary culture – music, art, fashion and cinematography. She contributed to such editions as Forbes, Euronews and others.
