Away Resorts will conduct a full review of its safeguarding policy after Aaron Hamilton, a convicted child sex offender, groomed and groped three boys while working as an arcade attendant at Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park on the Isle of Wight. Hamilton, who had previous convictions involving child abuse material and a sexual act in a public toilet, was sentenced to four years and one month in prison and given a sexual harm prevention order. He worked for subcontractor Playnation, part of Inspired Winning Entertainment. Away Resorts said it was shocked and saddened and that robust recruitment and vetting procedures were in place, but it did not answer specific questions about subcontractor DBS checks. Playnation also failed to respond.
