Exact date Cambridge will climb to 33C in sixth heatwave
Cambridge could reach 33C on September 2 as a potential sixth UK heatwave develops, according to WXCharts and other forecasting models. Temperatures may rise across eastern and southern England after cooler weather, while parts of the region are also expected to receive rain amid widespread drought. The Met Office says late-season hot spells or heatwaves could occur, although its Cambridge forecast remains near average overall with short-lived warm and humid periods possible. An official heatwave requires temperatures to exceed the local threshold for three consecutive days.
