Besiktas reached an agreement with Arsenal to sign winger Leandro Trossard for £17 million, pending a medical in Istanbul. Trossard had one year remaining on his contract and chose to leave as Arsenal look to build on their title-winning season. The 31-year-old Belgian international, who featured prominently in the World Cup, made 50 appearances last season and scored a key late winner against West Ham. He previously joined Arsenal from Brighton in 2023 and tallied 36 goals in 174 appearances over his tenure.
