Four Gambian nationals from Leeds, including 36-year-old Abu Camara, two women aged 18 and 30, and a seven-month-old baby girl, died after a red Hyundai left the A38 near Willington and struck a tree on July 25. The driver, a 33-year-old man, suffered serious injuries and was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving before being bailed. The Gambian Welfare Society in Leeds and The Gambia’s High Commission paid tribute to the victims and are supporting their families while authorities investigate.
