Blow for Barrow Raiders as Teare is ruled out with injury
Barrow Raiders will be without Curtis Teare because of a thumb injury, while Brad Singleton is also ruled out with an ankle problem and Joe Bullock remains doubtful with a back issue. Jarrad Stack could miss the trip to Halifax due to work commitments, and Harvey Makin has been recalled by Wigan. Finn McMillan, Charlie Emslie, Stevie Watson and Seth Woodend strengthen the squad, while Brad Walker, Ryan Johnston and Shane Toal return to contention. Head coach Paul Crarey expects a difficult match against Halifax and is concerned about further injuries ahead of a midweek game against Doncaster.

Gillam back to boost Barrow Raiders ahead of clash
Ellis Gillam has been cleared to return from a foot injury for Barrow Raiders' home match against Rochdale Hornets, while Andrew Bulman also returns and several positional changes are made. Brad Walker remains unavailable with a back injury, and Brad Singleton has a prior engagement. Coach Paul Crarey welcomed former Barrow player Jamie Dallimore's return with Rochdale and said the team must recover from three consecutive defeats, including a disputed sin-binning for Luke Broadbent at Oldham. Barrow are targeting a top-four place in the playoffs.
