Woman who stabbed husband left him gluing wounds together before saying 'sorry' in court
A woman who subjected her husband to a decades-long pattern of violent domestic abuse was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison after admitting wounding with intent. Evidence detailed repeated assaults, knife attacks and coercive behaviour that left the victim treating his own injuries to hide the abuse. During sentencing at Liverpool Crown Court, the judge condemned the escalating violence and imposed an indefinite restraining order preventing contact with the victim or entry into Wirral.
