A sequel to the 2008 film 'Slumdog Millionaire' is reportedly in development after Celador sold the rights to Bridge7. Producers Swati Shetty and Grant Kessman are leading the project, which will continue the story of the protagonist, Jamal. There is no confirmation if Dev Patel will reprise his role. Additionally, plans are underway to adapt the original film into a Broadway musical, with rights acquired by producer Ken Davenport.
