PETER QUAO ADATTOR is a journalist based in Accra, Ghana. With nearly 18-year experience as a video journalist, Peter Quao Adattor has carved a niche for himself reporting on under-reported issues affecting a majority of Ghanaians. Peter has a special interest in crime, security and human rights issues, and has done extensively, stories on trafficking in human (women and children). He has traveled to many communities across the country to highlight issues affecting the rural poor, women and children. Peter Quao Adattor has also brought to the fore, challenges of the poor in accessing healthcare, education, and migration. These led to the state, individuals, and organizations, including NGOs to bring solutions to communities and vulnerable individuals. He had visited Togo, Benin, Burkina Faso, Nigeria and Senegal among others, to report on a wide range of issues including trafficked children in illegal mining, fishing, and sexual exploitations. He has been on peacekeeping assignment in the war torn Somalia reporting on the police Peacekeepers and the war situation in that country. Peter has completed a two-year Diploma in Adult Education programme at the University of Ghana and currently runs a Social Services and Civic Rights NGO, Manarts PAQ Foundation.
