Man 'deliberately' drove at teenage E-bike thief in Middleton
Prosecutors told a Manchester court that Terrence King deliberately drove his car into 15-year-old Devon Simmonds-Caines in Middleton after the teenager stole an E-bike. CCTV footage reportedly shows King steering his Vauxhall Insignia onto the pavement without braking, causing the boy’s fatal injuries. King admits manslaughter but denies murder. The prosecution argues he acted out of revenge rather than attempting to recover the bike. The trial continues.
