Karl Perks - reform councillor quits party for Conservatives
Karl Perks has left Reform UK to join the Conservative Party, citing division and a lack of accountability within his former party. He criticised the response to the murder of Henry Nowak and expressed discomfort with how Nigel Farage addressed scrutiny over a £5 million gift from Christopher Harborne. Perks said he now supports Kemi Badenoch’s leadership of the Conservatives. Several other councillors have recently left Reform, though it remains the largest group on Worcestershire County Council. Reform leaders stated there was no animosity regarding his departure.
