Three Cardiff men are accused of trafficking two 17-year-old boys to Thailand to act as drug couriers in an international cannabis ring. The teenagers were arrested in Thailand with 64kg of cannabis in their suitcases and remain in custody there. Levi Coomansingh, Patrick O’Driscoll and Gareth Press were remanded in custody after appearing at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court, while Ffion Bowes-Cavanagh Hooley was granted conditional bail. All four are due to appear at Cardiff Crown Court on September 4, and South Wales Police continues to investigate the alleged exploitation and travel arrangements.
